2019 KCJLS Holiday Classic Show - 12/7/19

Hello!

We would like to invite your 4-H youth to our 2019 KCJLS Holiday Classic Show on Saturday, December 7th at the Kaufman County Fairgrounds in Kaufman, Texas.

This years show will have 2 TJLA Sanctioned rings for Lambs, Goats, Pigs, Steers and Heifers!

Here are some details and the flyer is attached - please share with your students and parents

Entry fee:

Ring A - $25 (Points and Ribbons Only)
Ring B - $30 (Points and Awards)

Must show in A to show in B

***Overall Grands - $200 Cash

***Overall Reserve Grands - $100 Cash

SWINE:

·  Judges - Jake Parr & Jason Fleming

·  Registration - 6-8:00AM

·  Showmanship at 9:00AM

·  Show Order - Showmanship, White OPB, Dark OPB, Berkshire, Duroc, Hampshire, York, Crosses

·  Awards - BUCKLES for Breed!  Reserve and Class Winner award

LAMB/GOATS:

·  Judges - Kyle Ramsey & Keaton Dodd

·  Registration - 7-9:00AM 

·  Goats followed by Lambs

·  Goat Showmanship beginning at 9:30AM

·  Goat classes broken by weight w/Divisions 

·  Awards - BUCKLES for Goat Divisions!  Reserve and Class Winner awards

·  Lamb Show Order (following goats) - Showmanship, Dorper, FineWool/FineWool Crosses, Southdown, Medium Wool (NOTE: FineWool and FineWool Cross WILL show together)

·  Classes broken by weight

·  Awards - BUCKLES for breed!  Reserve and Class Winner awards

CATTLE:

·  Judges - Cheryl Linthicum & Paul Maulsby

·  Registration - 7-9:00AM

·  HEIFERS followed by Steers

·  Beef Showmanship begins at 9:30AM

·  Steers show by Division - Classes broken by weight

·  Awards - BUCKLES for Division!  Reserve and Class Winner awards

·  21 Breed Heifer Format (21 largest breeds - 3 head make a breed)

·  Awards - BUCKLES for Breed!  Reserve breed, Division and Class Winner awards
