ENTRY FORMS:
Entry forms are expected to be available online sometime during the mid-October. Printed copies will be available in the CEO once they are posted online.

UPDATES & REMINDERS FROM THE SHOW:
Below is a brief update from the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Management team. Click on the images below to make them larger or click here download the update as a PDF. They have asked us to point out some big changes:
- REMINDER: All Extension Agents have until 12/1/19 to sign, seal, and postmark all online entries and supporting documents - double check with them to see when they have set your county deadline (Bastrop County 4-H entries are due to the CEO by 4 PM, November 7th)
- REMINDER: with adjustments to the schedule, there will be limited time for move-outs. Move-ins will only be scheduled for 1 DAY (it will be a longer day)
- NEW: The show will not pre-bed the pens and the cost of the bag of shavings is now built into the entry - you will get a voucher to pick up 1 bag of shavings per pen at the store
- NEW: The drug residue testing will now include blood serum tests to market show breed champions
- REMINDER: The drug residue testing will continue to use feather, & fecal testing for poultry and will take place as the champion drive finishes
- NEW: Turkey exhibitors must be physically IN LINE by 9:00 AM for turkey sift
- NEW: Barrows will follow the new classification guidelines
- NEW: Entry fees will increase slightly due to the increased cost of hosting the show, additions to drug testing, and so on.
- NEW: Maximum weight for market goats is 120 lbs.
- NEW: Archery contest will increase from 160 to 240 entries this year
- NEW: Robotics contest will be opened up state-wide, each county is allowed to send 2 Junior and 2 Senior teams (intermediates will be adjusted into Junior/Senior according to the age/grade rules in the premium book)
- NEW: Wildlife contest location has changed for this year & some contest dates have been changed
